Emily is available for Master Class teaching.
As a faculty member of of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC since 2006, she is steeped in teaching at all levels of ability and talent.
She has also taught master classes in Musical Theatre Audition Technique/Song Interpretation at the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Mellon University, Signature Theatre, Broadway Artists Studio, Broadway Theatre Project, DeSales University, and University of Oklahoma.
With a focus on both acting and musicality, she teaches the technique of turning an audition song into a fully explored scene/performance piece with humor and humanity.
She believes that what you choose to sing tells people who you are, and is expert at suggesting the best kind of material to showcase each student and make them shine.
Emily is skilled at drawing the most out of young performers and coaches with comfort, empathy, fun, passion, practicality, and big dose of heart.
